EA SPORTS FC 27 Player Career Mode

Player Career is the mode for following one footballer’s journey. FC 27 adds Player Career Rivalries, where competition with a teammate for a starting place gives your season a specific pressure point.

Decide what kind of career you want

Choose Player Career when the decision you care about is your individual footballer’s progress and place in the side. Manager Career is for managing the team; EA describes its separate systems elsewhere. Start by deciding whether you want to follow an existing player or build a new one, then review the options shown in your game version.

What Rivalries changes

EA describes Player Career Rivalries as competition with a teammate for the starting spot. That makes selection a continuing objective as you play, rather than just a one-time setup choice. The details should be read in EA’s Career notes; this is not a promise of a particular result after a fixed number of matches.
